Job Evaluation By Position Code

This report can be used as a tool to explain why a position received a particular grade. It allows you to compare the position under evaluation against the average points awarded to all positions within the same job code. This is particularly important for secretarial positions. A generic administrative assistant classification, for example, may cover a broad range of job activities, with some positions doing more of some activities than others. While the activities may be different within a job dimension, the positions can be equivalent in terms of overall skill, effort, and responsibility.
