Input Verification

The following graphic represents the Input Verification Selection menu from the actual Dimensional Job GradingTM system. This highly flexible selection screen enables you to produce a variety of reports, depending on your need. A review of Sections 1-3 demonstrates that you can select reports to provide data from all employees or by individual employees or by specific job codes. For demonstration purposes, we have pre-selected one employee and activated two report buttons (Completed JAQ Long Form and FLSA Exemption Analysis) to reveal sample reports. The functions of these reports are described below.

Completed JAQ Long Form. This reports displays all responses to a completed JAQ. It allows you to easily verify that the data was input correctly and examine the actual duties performed by the employee in terms of frequency and level of review. Some organizations use this document as a job description as well as the basis for performance appraisal.

FLSA Exemption Analysis. This report helps to assess FLSA exemption status. It displays only the responses to predetermined exempt-level duties extracted from the JAQ. Please review the history and guidelines listed in the report for a clearer understanding about how this report can help you with your FLSA analysis.
