History

Since 1983 N. E. Fried and Associates, Inc. has proudly served more than 1,500 clients worldwide with its products and services. We specialize in organizational effectiveness, offering products and services in executive assessment, 360 feedback, organizational culture surveys, performance management, coaching, training and development, and compensation research.

We enjoy getting to know our clients and taking the time to understand their needs. Our most satisfying consulting engagements occur when clients work with us as partners to solve business challenges. This arrangement keeps us on our toes by creating an environment for continuous learning and improvement.

Growth
We expanded our practice to include keynote speaking and training in 1991 and formed Intermediaries Speakers Bureau in 1992. In 1995 we broadened our client services to include organizational development, business process, and leadership issues. We can now offer clients customized, highly interactive and engaging training programs to help them improve productivity and cope with change.
 
Expansion to 360 Degree Feedback Products and Services
In 1998 we further expanded our services by forming alliances with Human Synergistics and Performance Support Systems (20/20 Insight Gold) to offer organizational effectiveness consulting supported with premier 360 degree feedback products and software services for performance management.  As a result of our thorough research and review of products, we were invited in 1999 to represent MindSolve Technologies, Inc. (Visual 360), and in 2001 Panometrics, Inc (Panoramic Feedback ).  These arrangements allow us to offer standardized, normed assessments through Human Synergistics or customized surveys through  a variety of top-level 360 degree feedback vendors.  Our goal is to identify and match the appropriate resource for our clients' needs.  Our thorough knowledge of the capabilities of these systems enables us to effectively assist clients with their 360 feedback readiness, application, design, and implementation needs.  We know of no other firm that has our depth of knowledge about a broad spectrum of competing multi-rater systems.  This unique advantage allows us to remain unbiased and help you choose the appropriate software solution for your performance management needs.
 
More Expansion - New Office - New Products in Training and Behavioral Style
 
In  2002, we opened a West Coast Office. This office is strategically located in Carlsbad, California.  It allows us to easily serve the rapidly growing needs of San Diego, Orange and Los Angeles Counties.  In 2003, we became an affiliates of Vital Learning and Target Training International (TTI) to offer a superior set of training and style assessment programs including such areas as leadership, supervision, communication, customer service, sales, and support staff for both classroom and e-learning.  This programs are in response to the those areas of development identified by our 360 feedback programs.

In  2004, we created two sister sites, www.TheLearningEngine.Org which features our classroom and online training program and www.MyExecutiveCoach.net  which provides products and services on executive coaching and assessment.
