In a recent survey of "Business Week" 1000 companies, 90 percent of executives surveyed said leadership development is the most important type of training offered to employees. Almost every executive believed that "developing leaders throughout the organization is critical for the rapid decision-making and innovation they need to compete." According to these executives, cultivating future leaders in their organizations is vital for success in the next millennium.
Members of The Ohio Society are facing the same issues. Which is exactly why The Center for Leadership was developed. The need for skilled leaders is as urgent today, if not more urgent, than at any other time in our history. Today's accelerated rate of change has created an environment of uncertainty, unpredictability and vulnerability. The Center for Leadership has been specifically designed for CPAs who choose to accept the challenge of positioning themselves to take advantage of opportunities created by the dramatic changes occurring in the profession today and the changes that will inevitably occur tomorrow.
The Center for Leadership is a five-course program consisting of customized leadership workshops focusing on individuals and how they become leaders–business leaders, community leaders, and organization leaders. The Center will help train tomorrow's leaders for future challenges in their organizations while helping today's leaders add new skills to their established repertoire.
